There are three common ways to check for ketone levels: a urine test, a blood test, and a breathalyzer.

Urine testing is a commonly used method because the ketones are excreted in the urine. However, this method isn’t always reliable because some people may not be producing enough ketones yet to show up in their urine. Blood testing is another way to measure ketosis but it can be expensive and inconvenient. Breath testing is the most convenient way to measure ketones since it doesn’t require any blood, only a device that can detect acetone levels in your breath.
